Pusser’s Bar and Grille is excited to announce the opening of its new private dining and bar area, known as ‘The Rum Room,’ which spans roughly 450-square-feet and is spacious enough to comfortably seat up to 46 guests - but can also be tailored to suit smaller, more intimate gatherings.

The Rum Room embraces Pusser’s Caribbean origins and 300 years of tradition as the official rum of the British Royal Navy, with deep mahogany accents, sailing memorabilia and an antique rum still.

For business and entertainment, the room will feature a 55” high-definition LED television for live sporting events and performances, and also direct HDMI hookups to accommodate business luncheons and corporate presentations.

Adjacent to the HDTV flatscreen will be a private bar showcasing the rarest and finest rums from all over the world, including premium labels such as: Cruzan Single Barrel, El Dorado 15-yr-old, English Harbor 5-yr-old, Mount Gay Extra Old, Neisson Rhum Reserve Special, Pyrat XO Reserve, Rhum Barbancourt, Santa Teresa 1776 and Zacapa Centenario, among others.

Of course, The Rum Room will highlight Pusser’s very own Trafalgar Bicentenary Rum – a 15 year old blend and recent recipient of the highly acclaimed 2011 San Francisco World Spirits Competition double-gold medal.

General Manager Dan Monk will oversee the operations and coordinate group reservations for The Rum Room. “We are excited to now provide a more personalized private dining and drinking experience. With continued encouragement and support from the Ponte Vedra community and a growing popularity as a premier travel destination, we felt this was a natural extension of the restaurant,” says Monk

Additionally, interested parties will be offered completely customizable menus specifically developed with guidance from world traveled, award-winning Executive Chef Chris DeLay. Traditional menu items will be available as well, featuring freshly prepared sauces, slow roasted and grilled meats, fresh seafood and Pusser's world reknown appetizers. DeLay conducts regularly scheduled cooking classes to sell-out crowds at the restaurant and is a regular celebrity chef on Jacksonville’s Morning Show where he fascinates audiences with his cooking demonstrations.
