I rescued a kitten from the side rail of the Matthews bridge about two weeks ago. I actually saw it driving home Halloween night, made a large loop, and stopped traffic to get him. His nose was banged up really good and didn't know if he had internal injuries so I took him to the vet in orange park. They said he was ok and that he'd heal in due time. Since then, he has shared our home but there's a huge glitch. We did not know that our children were severely allergic to cats! I desperately need to place this kitten with another family. Please put the word out about this beautiful kitten. His fur is as soft as a rabbit's and his tail is ringed with soft brown and white. If you can help, email stacey_cantrell@att.net.

The Putnam County Sheriff's Office reports this female mix was dropped off at PCSO Friday, Sept. 14 after she was found living in an abandoned vehicle at Kay Larkin Airport. She is very sweet & well mannered. If anyone is interested in adopting her, please contact the Putnam County Sheriff's Office at 386-329-0396.

Adorable, gorgeous, clean, fondly, gentle, tender, guffy, obeying, loving, very smart. We gave her name Stella. She does "sit", "stay", "come here". Jessie Johnson is asking for help to find her lost dog Dixie. Dixie is a 7-year-old spayed yellow lab that's approximately 75 pounds. Dixie was wearing a Mossy Oak camouflage collar and went missing Friday, Aug. 3 in the westside area around Normandy and Memorial Park. Trying to find the owner of this dog I found on Murray Drive on the Westside. The dog was standing in the middle of Murray Drive without a collar. If I can't find the owners, I am trying to find a good home for her so she isn't put down. She's skinny, playful and has the best personality. She's very people friendly and great with other animals. I have attached some photos of her as well. In the meantime we have named her Kai.

Missing from 103rd ST and Old Middleburg RD. Small black and brindle mini pin mix looks like pitbull pup front teeth are very crooked. He is 8 yrs old and has been missing for a few months. We really want him back have looked everywhere.

If you've seen a dog that looks like Daphne contact her owner Maggie Dutton at 904-635-5187. Dutton tells First Coast News she is offering a $300 reward for Daphne's safe return.
