Ponte Vedra woman killed in single-vehicle crash

NOCATEE, Fla. - A Ponte Vedra woman was killed in a single-vehicle crash late Saturday night.

Susan B. Lamolinara, 51, was driving westbound on Nocatee Parkway and exited southbound onto Valley Ridge Road, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office.

Lamolinara allegedly lost control of her car and struck the outside curb of the off ramp. Her car then crossed the raised median into the northbound lanes and flipped causing the victim to be ejected from the vehicle.

Lamolinara was the only person in the car at the time of the crash and was pronounced dead at the scene.

A seat belt was not in use at the time of the crash and it is not yet clear if alcohol was a factor.

An investigation is ongoing.
