PONTE VEDRA BEACH, Fla. -- Tuesday morning, Tim Tebow surprised about 1,200 students at The Players Championship Tuesday.
Tebow, who starred at nearby Nease High School prior to a record-setting four years at the University of Florida, visited the 4th graders participating in the Area Wide Junior Clinic sponsored by PGA Tour Charities during The First Tee Tuesday at The Players.
He spoke for a few minutes, telling the students the guidelines he said have led him to success.
"Do what's right, do your best, and treat others as you would like to be treated," he said to the excited, screaming crowd.
Tebow announced that his tournament last weekend raised about $100,000.
