Calling all super heroes! Super Grover needs your help – and it’s Elmo and the Fabulous Five to the rescue when this fantastic musical production zooms into Jacksonville. Join Elmo, Zoe, Abby Cadabby, Telly Monster and Zoe’s pet rock Rocco for Sesame Street Live “Elmo’s Super Heroes” at Times Union Center for Performing Arts (Moran Theater) from Friday, Sept. 16 through Sunday, Sept. 18. Tickets for all five performances go on sale Wednesday, Aug. 10 at 10 a.m.

When Super Grover loses his superness, Sesame Street needs a hero! Never fear, Elmo and his team of super heroes are here. Teaching lessons of healthy habits through song and dance, Elmo, Abby Cadabby and your favorite Sesame Street friends will explore exercise, nutrition, sleep/energy and hygiene – all in a quest to put the “super” back in Super Grover. Florida Lottery Has Two Huge Jackpot Drawings Tonight

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Yes, the chances of hitting either jackpot are very very slim. But for a dollar a piece you can get in on both the Florida Lotto and Powerball drawings. Tonight's Powerball jackpot, which is a national drawing, is up to $160 million.

Our state's very own lottery, the Florida Lotto, is now up to $34 million.

Neither are records on their own, but, "What's unusual is that we have such a high jackpot on Lotto at the same time there is a high Powerball jackpot," said Florida Lottery Jacksonville district manager Steven Galaydick.

Right now the $160 million Powerball prize is the highest in the country, edging out the other very large MegaMillions prize ($99 million).

Register Now: American Lung Association Second Annual Fight For Air Run/Walk

The American Lung Association welcomes runners and walkers of all ages to join in the Second Annual Fight For Air Run/Walk Saturday, August, 27, 2011 at the Nocatee Greenway Trails. This event will give participants an opportunity to enjoy the scenic, wooded trails of the Nocatee community. 

Walkers can choose from either a three-mile or one-mile course, which will start at 5:00 p.m. The certified 5K run will kick off at 5:30 p.m. Awards will be given to the top three male and female finishers in various age categories.

Immediately following the event, participants are invited to a party sponsored by Baptist Health at Nocatee Splash Water Park. Registered runners and walkers will enjoy use of the exclusive park, including two water slides and a lazy river. The celebration will also include food, donated by Jacksonville Ale House and Miller’s Ale House.
