Bike MS Kick-Off Ride July 14 | Community Spirit
PONTE VEDRA, Fla. – It’s time to kick-off Bike MS season with the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, North Florida Chapter’s official Kick-Off Ride, Saturday, July 14, 2012 at TPC Sawgrass.
Every year, more than 500 cyclists gather with their teams to dust off their bicycles and kick into training for Bike MS: PGA TOUR Cycle to the Shore. This year, the 26th annual Bike MS: PGA TOUR Cycle to the Shore ride, the Society’s largest fundraiser, will take place September 29-30, 2012. The Kick-Off Ride is the perfect time and place to begin training for the 150-mile Bike MS ride.
All cyclists 12 years old and over are welcome to challenge themselves at the Kick-Off Ride, where they can choose to ride the 25 or 45-mile route for a $5 donation benefitting the Society. Registration starts at 6:30 a.m. and the ride at 7:30 a.m. at TPC Sawgrass. Snacks, water and sports drinks will be provided by the Society.
Several seasoned cyclists have participated in Bike MS since its inception and will be at the Kick-Off Ride and available for interviews.
